One colour, many textures — Edition 01: Caramel
Show & Tell is a joint campaign by three brands — KompacPlus, Catalyste and Outlines — built around a mobile experience booth that goes where the design trade already gathers: roadshows, renovation events and client presentations. It is made for everyone who chooses materials — interior design firms, design consultants, architectural firms, developers, and homeowners shaping their own space — and it works like the ritual it is named after: a hands-on session where materials and detailing do the teaching.
The campaign runs on two identical builds: one that travels to wherever the trade gathers, and a twin in residence at the Catalyste showroom, wearing its own palette. Each brand invites its own clientele, and at every session the three brands attend together — each sharing its own product, first-hand. Two sets, one story, three tellers — with the marketing effort and cost shared across the partners.
Hold the colour constant and texture becomes the lesson. The first edition of Show & Tell is built entirely in Caramel — one tone carried across four O2+ textures, drawn from the Super Solids and Power Patterns collections, so a designer can read, by hand and by eye, how the same colour behaves as matte, sheen, grain and leather.
Shown in O2+'s digital skins. Standard sheet 4.25′ × 8′ (1300 × 2440 mm) · matching edgebands available · the booth is the place to read the real thing.
The mobile experience booth is a compact kitchen volume — 1240 mm wide, 600 mm deep, 1500 mm tall — that sets up in minutes and reads at two distances. Across the room, it is a single caramel composition. Up close, it becomes a lesson in detailing: a KompacPlus worktop and backsplash in solid 6 mm panel, the sink disappearing under a matching cover, the four O2+ Caramel textures carried across the drawer fronts and backsplash inlays, while Outlines LineCore runs through both surfaces — semi-recessed along the worktop, fully concealed behind the backsplash.
One detail carries the partnership itself: the brand mark on the backsplash is a magnetic snap-on, interchangeable between the three brands. Whichever brand takes the lead for the event or presentation snaps its own mark onto the panel — same booth, same lesson, a different name on the door.
A second set — the same construction as the travelling booth — takes up residence at the Catalyste showroom. Same concept, its own character: a different colour selection and its own graphic composition, so the two sets never repeat. Catalyste proposes the palette it wants to showcase, and Edition 02 takes its colours from that choice.
Between deployments, the show never closes. The resident set keeps the lesson on view where Catalyste's clientele already visits, gives the campaign a permanent address, and gives every roadshow conversation a follow-up destination.
The mobile experience booth — deploys at client roadshows, renovation events and trade presentations, then moves on to the next room.
The resident set at the Catalyste showroom — same build, a fresh palette and graphic composition proposed by Catalyste, on view year-round.
No host, no guest. The booth is one considered space in which each brand carries the part of the lesson it knows best — and every visitor leaves having learned all three.
A Singapore house of interior surface brands — Lamitak, O2+, O2 and Dekodur Distil — with CATALAB as its Experience Hub. For Edition 01, the O2+ Caramel family dresses the fronts and the backsplash inlays: one colour, four textures, read by hand.
Solid 6 mm Italian-made paper composite panel — a surface category of its own, supplied and installed in-house. On the booth, it forms the worktop and the backsplash: a fitted sink cover, inlay detailing and slim edges shown at full scale, made to be touched.
Architectural power systems for considered interiors, from the surface-mounted PowerBase to LineCore. The booth carries LineCore both ways: semi-recessed along the worktop, and concealed behind the backsplash with only a 3 mm reveal — power planned as part of the design, with adapters as access points.
Show & Tell is attended by all three brands together. Each team tells its own product's story — Catalyste on its textures and collections, KompacPlus on its panel and detailing, Outlines on its power tracks — supported by one shared presentation pack of slides, specifications and stories. The audience changes with whoever convened the session; the lesson arrives first-hand from the people who make each part.
The sets show. The brands tell. Together they turn a pair of builds into a season of appointments.
Show & Tell is a joint marketing initiative: effort and cost are shared across the partners, each brand activates its own network, and every deployment works for all three names at once. Contributions begin in kind — the mechanics of the shared arrangement are agreed together at the alignment meeting.
One sheet of each Caramel texture with its matching edgeband — the full material set for the first build of the mobile experience booth.
Set 02, the resident set: a mirrored schedule — four sheets and matching edgeband in the designs Catalyste proposes — itemised together once Edition 02 is selected.
A working session to align on the campaign — concept, name, calendar and the shared arrangement between partners.
Confirm the four Caramel designs and edgeband — ideally over the real sheets at CATALAB — while Catalyste proposes the palette for its resident set.
Hyphenate fabricates both sets and assembles the presentation pack; the resident set takes its place in the showroom and the first deployment is booked.
